Donor Privacy Policy
Assistance League Chicagoland West is committed to respecting the privacy wishes of all individuals and organizations making cash or in-kind donations to Assistance League. We do not copy, publish, post, distribute, share or sell the name, personal contact information, or description of donor contributions to any outside individual or business. Exceptions shall be those required by law, requested in grant applications or in connection with bank credit or debit card transactions that may be made without prior knowledge or consent of the donor. 

Assistance League Chicagoland West does acknowledge donors by name and/or description of donation, unless the donor notifies us declining acknowledgement. Acknowledgements might be included in, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, press releases, event invitations, event programs, stationery, solicitation materials, media thank you ads, the Assistance League website or other means of expressing appreciation for donor contributions. A donor wishing to view samples of these acknowledgements may do so by contacting the chapter via the email or postal address listed at the bottom of this page.

  • Protected Persons Behavioral and ReportingPolicy

    Assistance League Chicagoland West has adopted the National Assistance League’s policy to provide a safe and secure environment for children, persons with intellectual disabilities, and elderly persons who participate in activities sponsored by Assistance League. This policy is intended to formalize Assistance League’s commitment to the avoidance of abuse to such protected persons. Read the entire policy here.

  • Nondiscrimination Policy
    Assistance League Chicagoland West shall adhere to a policy of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, age, national origin (ancestry), disabilities, marital status, sexual orientation or military status in its hiring practices and program operations. These activities include hiring and firing of staff (in accordance with state and federal law), selection of vendors, and provision of services.
