Operation School Bell is the signature philanthropic program of Assistance League, serving local communities by providing clothing and supplies as well as helping meet the health, hunger and literacy needs of those served. Beyond the Bell ensures that schools have the supplies they can use to address student emergencies that arise during the school day.

Beyond the Bell stocks social workers’ closets with items such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes and other toiletries, giving them resources to be able to help immediately.

why it’s important

Emergencies happen. This program addresses the small issues that a student may face and provides them with the items needed to keep them comfortable and in class.
