Assistance League of Chicagoland West welcomes all volunteers committed to making a difference in people’s lives. Some of our members have just moved to the area, while others are longtime residents. All volunteer because it gives them a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community in a meaningful way.

Make a difference for yourself and others.

Assistance League of Chicagoland West members participate in at least one resource development project and one philanthropic project each year; all members are encouraged to attend chapter meetings on a regular basis. Chapter meetings are generally held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at our office. We offer a variety of opportunities for involvement to fit the availability, interests, and skills of each member.

Because each Assistance League chapter is responsible for raising all the funds necessary to pay for its philanthropic programs, members are asked to make the following financial commitment:

·         Annual Dues   - $75.00

·         Purchase of 1 (one) ticket to our signature fundraiser, Books & Brunch

·         Provide a minimum of $300.00 in solicited/donated goods, services, advertisements, or cash to support Books & Brunch

Assistance League relies on its members to volunteer for philanthropic, fundraising and administrative acitivities. Within every committee there is a variety of jobs, with a variety of time commitments. By selecting a committee on this form, you are letting the committee chairs know that you are interested in helping. They will contact you to give you more information about volunteering opportunities. Please select at least one philanthropy and one other committee that interests you. Assistance League of Chicagoland West may take and publish photographs of me in print and on electronic media for any Assistance League purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, the Assistance League of Chicagoland West website ( and any other informational or promotional materials. I hereby waive and release for myself all claims for any compensation for such use of pictures, and I hereby indemnify and hold the above organization harmless against any and all claims or damages arising out of use of my pictures or name.

Dues Payment *
Please let us know how you will be paying your dues. If you are paying by credit card, you will see a "Pay Dues" button after your registration form is successfully submitted. Regardless of the payment method, you must click on the "Submit your Membership Form" button to complete your registration.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Membership Dues

Yearly membership dues are $75 and are due by May 15th.

Your dues provide membership for the new fiscal year beginning on June 1st and ending on May 31st of next year.
For new  members joining between December 1st and February 28th, dues are reduced by half.

For new members joining between March 1st and May 31st,  the $75 dues cover the cost of the next fiscal year.
